CORROSION PROTECTION

Most environments expose the steel to some kind of moisture. To protect the construction from corrosion you can choose to galvanize the steel and/or powder coat the steel. If you choose powder coating together with galvanization, so called duplex treatment, you get very good protection against corrosion.

We also offer GRP, stainless steel or acid-proof stainless steel as an alternative to the galvanized/powder coated product.

Corrosivity classifications (former environmental classifications)

To describe how the environment can affect the life span of the installation the concept of corrosivity classifications is used. The classes are based on the different environments and their levels of corrosion to which the metal is likely to be exposed.
